Lecrae asked if Roberts is ever tempted to be loud and attention-seeking, like some of his track teammates. The runner admitted he ponders that at times but won’t do anything to “compromise my faith.”
Earning a spot on Team USA for the 2024 Summer Olympics was a blessing, Roberts said, and he’s thankful for clinching a medal. When Lecrae asked whether Roberts was satisfied with silver, the athlete admitted he has high expectations and will keep striving for gold.
Roberts, who won bronze at last year’s World Championships, is training for next year’s event. It will be held in September in Tokyo.
