“Praying in tongues man—that seems like some private thing,” Brand said, concluding by asking what his followers think about “praying in public and the intimacy and privacy of our prayer but also the necessity for evangelism.”

Many people responded to Brand with their views on speaking in tongues and by encouraging him that praying in public is good as long as his motivation for doing so is not self-centered.
