The neighborhood her family used to live in is “decimated,” including the home she raised her children in. “The whole street is gone. There’s nothing left of the house,” Bure said.

Bure shared that the man who bought her old home recently sent Bure a photo of himself sitting beside the pool with his cat. “He said it was really feeling like home for them, and they loved it,” Bure said, “and then today it’s gone.”
“It’s just pretty heartbreaking to look at it,” Bure said of the photos she has seen of her old house. “We rebuilt that whole home, and, you know, [we] just put a lot of time and energy into making that home what it was today. And so we have so much love for it, and it’s just so sad [that] not even a wall [is] standing on it.”
“I’m just so sad for everyone. I’m so sad, and it’s just sad to see a city that we’ve loved so much and have so many friends in who are still there be left with nothing,” she lamented. “So my heart just breaks. I’m really sad, and I just want to go help. I just want to go help. And we’re just sitting here waiting because we can’t do anything yet. So, praying for it to stop.”
The wildfires have placed an estimated 180,000 people under evacuation orders and warnings. Only essential workers are allowed to enter areas that have been affected by the fires.
