For the last 30 years ,we, at Dare 2 Share, have been training teenagers and youth leaders (as well as tons of adults) to share the simple Gospel message. As a matter of fact, three decades ago, we developed a G.O.S.P.E.L. acrostic that we have used to train millions of teenagers and adults to master. The hundreds of events we’ve done, countless curriculums we’ve written and 21 books we’ve published, are all saturated with the G.O.S.P.E.L.
Here is that simple G.O.S.P.E.L. acrostic:
God created us to be with him.
Our sins separate us from God.
Sins cannot be removed by good deeds.
Paying the price for sin, Jesus died and rose again.
Everyone who trusts in him alone has eternal life.
Life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever.
Millions of teenagers and adults have memorized this simple acrostic to give them, what we have come to nickname, as “Gospel Fluency.” When believers memorize this, it gives them a speakable outline to share as they communicate the Good News of Jesus to their friends, classmates, family and teammates.
We have an app called Life in 6 Words that lays out the simple Gospel in 12 languages. The acrostics are different in every language but the message is the same…the Gospel changes everything.
I challenge you to memorize this acrostic right now and then articulate that simple Gospel message to someone who needs the good news of Jesus today!
