Graham Festival Ends With 1,765 Decisions

10/24/10

An evangelistic festival featuring Franklin Graham in Osaka, Japan resulted in more than 1,700 decisions for Christ over the three-day event. The Christian Post reported on the festival attended by more than 30,700, making it one of the largest gatherings of believers in the city’s history. The event’s elements included a Ladies’ Festival that drew more than 3,000 and a kids’ festival drawing more than 5,000. Attenders said the festival “breathed new life” into churches in the region, which suffer from few young leaders and a declining child population. Graham’s next festival will take place in early November in the northern European country of Latvia.
