Amanda Riggan On the Steve Harvey Show
After the video of Amanda went viral, the Steve Harvey Show picked up the story. Steve invited Amanda to come on the show to tell the story behind the video. Now she is using the attention to support the first responders in her town through her organization “Hungry Heroes.”
Amanda shares, “I’m a single mom, I have a 13-year old daughter and I always try to tell her to “be Jesus with skin on.” Like, he’s not here, he’s not tangible but if we can be that for him, well, that’s how I try to raise her. That’s how I try to live.”
