Epicenter is an opportunity to increase our church’s impact – locally and globally – by giving above and beyond your regular monthly giving.

Why Epicenter?
We want to meet people with the love of Christ right where they are – your neighbor struggling in a bad marriage, your co-worker battling addiction, your brother questioning faith, as well as orphans in India and earthquake victims in Haiti. We believe transformation happens in an authentic relationship with God while in community with others. Last year, we started building “Networks” for this purpose that are already positively impacting individuals, and entire neighborhoods and workplaces in Austin and around the globe. The Epicenter initiative is an opportunity for you to help increase our impact.
How will my gift make a difference?
We’re mobilizing and equipping our body to serve the physical and spiritual needs of those in Austin through Networks, communities of 35 or more who serve holistically and grow spiritually as they do life together. We currently have 20+ networks serving our city by supporting single moms, providing weekend meals to kids living in poverty, offering medical care to refugees, rescuing women and children from sex trafficking, teaching music lessons to foster children…and the list goes on. We’re reaching beyond Austin, with a Branson, Missouri network that feeds 500 people in poverty every week, and networks in Australia and Norway. We’re also committed to sending teams to serve alongside our partners in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, India and across the United States.
What is the goal?
Tremendous needs are everywhere. Our goal is to equip and empower thousands of people like you with resources, training, community, and spiritual development to create epicenters of impact around the globe. We’re aiming to have 40 fully functioning Networks be the end of 2012. To make this happen, our November and December 2011 financial goal is to raise $780,000 above regular giving.
