Flat Tires, Frustrations and Always Being Ready to Evangelize

We prayed right there in the parking lot! Now we are working on getting him plugged into a church.

As we were saying goodbye I told Roman, “You are the reason my wife got a flat tire.” He tilted his head a bit quizzically. Then I explained, “If my wife hadn’t gotten a flat tire, then you and I wouldn’t be here right now talking about Jesus. God sent me to you through this flat tire.”

It felt like a Phillip and Ethiopian eunuch type situation (Acts 8:26-40), except, in this version, the Ethiopian’s chariot was getting a wheel replaced. 😂)

May this story be a reminder to all of us of how life’s little frustrations can lead to Gospel conversations! Those frustrations may be God’s way of sending you somewhere to talk to someone about Jesus!

Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.” (Philippians 1:12)
