Knowing Your Child’s Current Niche and Why It Matters

And what about those kids who are into digital things like video gaming, creating video content (Shameless Plug—check out my son’s niche, the Bunkhouse Bros YouTube Channel), or photography? How can you both encourage and engage with them surrounding those things?

Oftentimes, parents expect their kids to give them their full undivided attention, when in reality oftentimes parents aren’t willing to return the favor. When was the last time you gave your child your full undivided attention to prioritizing their niche’? Why not take some time to do it this week? I heard someone recently say that one of the times your kids ask, “Can you come and play with me?” will be the last time they ever ask.

If we truly want our kids to engage with us, we’ve got to be engaging with them. And the best way to do that is often to simply connect with their world.

So here’s the big question to answer for yourself…What’s my child’s current niche, and how can I tap into my child’s heart and life through it this week?
