Survey: 1 in 4 Believers are "Worldly Christians"

The Christian Post reported on the results of a quiz issued by Changing the Face of Christianity that showed that nearly 25% of believers are Christians “in name only” and admit they don’t live according to Christ’s teachings. The quiz classified 23.7 percent of the more than 2,000 respondents as “worldly Christians” as indicated by answers to 10 multiple choice questions about the person’s faith and spiritual walk. “Worldly Christians” was defined by founder of Changing the Face of Christianity, Inc. R. Brad White as, “When posed with a real world situation which tests their faith, they tend to do what the rest of the world does, instead of living as Jesus instructs…These are people that you would probably be surprised to find are Christian…”

White continued, “These people are in the sweet spot of where we need to do our work. We are here to walk along side them, love them, educate them, mentor them, and guide them into living their faith through their words and actions.” White also said his organization has plans to launch programs that are “revolutionary” in their approach to small groups to help put these believers back on “the path to righteousness.”
