Noted pastor and author Ed Young will spend a day in bed with his wife Lisa on the roof of his Fellowship Church in Texas while live-streaming he and his wife discussing sex and relationship issues. The church’s website says the “24 hour bed-in” will take place Friday morning through Saturday morning, January 13—14, and is designed to “bring the bed back in the church and put the church back in the bed.” The Youngs will be joined by special guests via “bedside interviews” and Skype to discuss relationship questions and do teachings on marital sex. Young will follow the event with a sermon series on the subject of sex and marriage.

Young’s newest book, “Sexperiment: 7 Days to Lasting Intimacy with Your Spouse,” encourages married couples to enjoy creative sex God’s way as “a tremendous catalyst that leads to much more than a week of happiness.” The Christian Post quoted from the book, “Christians tend to think that sensuality is carnality, but in actuality it’s spirituality.” They offer a challenge to married couples to have sex for seven straight days, saying “sex is the superglue to strengthen your marriage.” Steven Furtick and Craig Groeschel and their wives have endorsed the book. Young and his wife have been married for 29 years.
