Starting February 6 through March 2, the team behind the popular Exponential conference is offering a unique 20-day devotional featuring daily thoughts from influential leaders such as Francis Chan and Wayne Cordeiro. These devotionals are themed to assist ministry leaders in understanding how God uses trials and suffering to increase faith, referred to as “sifting” by the creators of the devotional.
Francis Chan explains in a video, “…Over the years, God humbles you—sometimes he even humiliates you, but it’s all for a good cause. It’s all about building you up. Some of those struggles…really help you become who you need to be. I think there’s a lot of people who really don’t realize that going in until it gets really awful. That’s when they want to quit, not realizing that’s exactly what God’s wanting so you can come out of it as a more powerful, more useful minister.”
