According to a report by USA Today, megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar was arrested early Friday morning on charges of simple battery and cruelty to children during an argument with his 15-year-old daughter over whether or not should could attend a party. The founder and pastor of World Changers Church International says he acknowleges spanking and wrestling with his daughter in their Atlanta home when she became “very disrespectful” during the argument. Investigators said the 50-year-old Dollar “got physical” with the teen and left her with “superficial” injuries. Dollar’s legal representation has said he is currently gathering information for the case and has no comment at this time.
