Pistol-Packing Pastor Foils Robbery in Indiana

As reported by NBC, a pastor visiting a Dollar General Store in Evansville stopped a robbery when he pulled his personal handgun on the perpetrator last Friday night. Police said suspect, Jermaine Dewayne Marshall, 25, face hidden by a bandanna, demanded money from the cashier while waving an unknown object wrapped in plaastic. The pastor, Carl Sanders, who has a permit to carry a firearm, walked into the store as the suspect began hitting the clerk. At was at this point that Pastor Sanders pulled his weapon and held the suspect until police arrived.  No one in the store was injured. The object in the plastic bag was a spoon.
