4. Generous churches talk about money often.
“Spiritual growth and generosity are intricately linked.”
But it’s impossible to grow people in the spiritual discipline of generosity if you fail to talk about money.
People in your church are hungry for leadership in their finances.
Teach them that money management has spiritual implications. Show them how to live on a budget. Help them take the first step in their giving.
Show people grace as they learn to give, but always encourage them to grow in their personal generosity.
After all, Jesus was the ultimate giver—shouldn’t we be more like Him?
