Immorality and a blatant disregard for holiness of the heart have never been acceptable in the sight of God, regardless of how recognized, commonplace and sophisticated it may become in any society. There is little difference in the eyes of God between the lewd pagan practices and idol worship of the first century and the sexual immorality and celebrated depravity of the 21st century.
Jesus still calls to His church, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you” (2 Corinthians 6:17).
