Reflections on Leadership

I want to share with you some leadership insights that I’m learning and applying in my leadership context.  I pray that these insights increase your capacity as a leader.

Be courageous enough to experience short-term pain for long-term gain.

The future is transformed by your investment today.  Invest well, my friends.

Don’t let a “safety net” harm your calling from God.  Following Jesus is not safe.  But He is good.

What you see as a problem, God sees as circumstances that will unleash your potential.

You can’t live in the past.  But you can learn from the past.  Learn and live.

People can’t read your mind.  Clearly communicate your expectations.

Surround yourself with people who are humble, wise, and more gifted than you are.

You don’t need to know the future, just the One who does.

One of the greatest investments you can make is in developing the people you lead.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” – Steve Jobs

God is not intimidated by our vision!  Pray and expect Him to blow your mind when it’s for His glory!

Marinate on that,
