Sun Stand Still Day…One Year Later

One year ago Wednesday, I did the unthinkable to celebrate the release of my first book, Sun Stand Still—I preached half a year’s worth of sermons…in 24 hours.

Sun Stand Still Day will forever go down as one of the most audacious initiatives we’ll ever do. It was simultaneously the culmination of years of powerful demonstrations of God’s faithfulness and an expression of anticipation for how God would move in the future.

We’ve put so much energy and prayer into this movement over the past year. We really have believed that God would use the message of audacious faith as a catalyst to see countless people begin to believe God for the impossible.

And that is what has happened. The stories that come to me via email or through tweets never cease to amaze me. More and more people are joining this movement and a bold generation is rising up.

And so as we approach the day that launched the movement, we thought it would be fitting to share it again with all of you. We’ve had a lot of people ask if they’d ever be able to see the sermons from that day. Here’s your chance. This Wednesday starting at noon, we’ll be showing Sun Stand Still Day in its entirety.

Every sermon.
Every video.
Every interview.
Every nonsensical comment made at 3 in the morning.

We will stream the entire event on sunstandstill.org. You can tune in while you’re at work. Watch as a family from your home. Even if you wake up at 3 am and can’t sleep, I’ll still be there. Whatever your schedule looks like Wednesday and Thursday, I encourage you to choose one of the 24 hours in the day and tune in.

If you’ve already joined the movement, I hope it inspires you to keep believing God for even bigger things than you’ve seen this past year.

If you haven’t joined it yet, I hope God uses it to convince you to jump onboard and begin believing Him for the impossible.
