Don’t Freak Out

We live in uncertain times.

The economy is broke.

Jobs are as rare as finding a unicorn.

Madmen have nukes.

We live in uncertain times.

Here’s the deal: “Don’t freak out because you don’t know what the future holds. Remember, God holds the future in His hands.”

He’s the only Being in the universe who has never been surprised. He’s never looked at Michael the Archangel and said, “Oh my goodness, I didn’t see that coming!”

God has never not seen all of His-story and He acted before history began! God acts outside of time, but His actions are in time.

So, God has seen your problem and everyone else’s, and has already done something about it. He’s just waiting for you to get there and thank Him.

We live in uncertain times, but worship, love and trust a God who has certainly acted in our best interest through Jesus’ sinless life, His substitionary death on the cross in our place, His sin-and death-defeating resurrection, and His glorious ascension as our advocate. He has acted and He has won. So, win because of His accomplishments.

“Don’t freak out because you don’t know what the future holds. Remember, God not only holds the future in His hands, He holds you too.” (John 10:28; Romans 8:35-39)
