From NoiseTrade, “Hymns Collective are a group of musicians from various churches across South-East London, uniting to bring a fresh sound to old, well-loved hymns. Our aim was to put on live performances for all to enjoy, and using just a 2-channel PA system we’ve recorded the first two of these evenings in order to give copies of the tracks to members of our local churches. The result of these hymns evenings is a growing number of tracks with a raw, acoustic feel that are full of life and our personal worship to Jesus. We hope that more people can enjoy these stripped-back, live renditions of some of our favourite hymns.”
