#6 – I Can Only Imagine: The Very Best Of Mercy Me [MercyMe]

Released in 2018, ‘I Can Only Imagine – The Very Best of MercyMe’ continues to be successful because it is packed with so many popular hits. From the Dove Award winning song ‘I Can Only Imagine‘, to the powerful ‘Word of God Speak,’ it isn’t surprising this is still on the charts. MercyMe was nominated for both a Grammy and an American Music award this year.


#7 – Only Jesus [Casting Crowns]

‘Only Jesus’ was released in late 2018, and the single climbed to #1 on the Christian Airplay charts since 2011. Casting Crowns has been nominated for a Grammy in 2020 for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance.


#8 – Therapy Session [NF]

Nathan John Feuerstein goes by the artist name NF. Therapy Session was NF’s second major label release debuted in 2016. This album being on the charts after 3 years should be intriguing enough for someone to see why. It received a Dove Award in 2016 and reached #12 on the US Billboard 200. NF has one of the most unique and emotional writing skills as anyone in the industry, so check out this album and his others.


#9 – The Elements [tobyMac]

Toby McKeehan, 1/3 of the super popular and successful Christian group DC Talk, released his 8th studio album in October of 2018. The album was nominated for a Dove Award this year and TobyMac won for Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year. The Elements has been nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for a Grammy in 2020, his album ‘This Is Not A Test’ won in 2016. Please keep Toby, his wife, and family in your prayers as he lost his oldest son this past year.


#10 – Chain Breaker [Zach Williams]

‘Chain Breaker’, released in December of 2016, won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Music Album in 2018. It produced three top ten singles on the Hot Christian Songs chart. The album is still so popular that even three years after it was released, ‘Chain Breaker’ was nominated for Billboard Music Award’s Top Christian Album.

What will 2020 bring?
