Outspoken: A New Book for Church Communications

The world of communications has changed drastically in the last decade. With the rise of new media, many industries are refining and reimagining what communication in this new digital age could look like. This shift is also happening among faith communities and church leaders.

Tim Schraeder and the team at the Center for Church Communications just released a new book called Outspoken. They have taken some of the best practices in the field of communications and have contextualized insights for the Church. Over 60 contributors from multiple industries gave their insights about this topic. I was honored to be asked by this team to be one of these contributors. I wrote a chapter about branding an organization.

If you are a faith leader or are interested in hearing how the world of church communications is evolving, this would be a great book to read. In fact, whether or not you have a faith perspective, there are plenty of practical insights here that will apply to most industries or arenas of thoughts.
