5. The Message
I give a graduation message each year. It’s short and sweet, heartfelt and personal, super practical and Jesus-centered. After the message, I call seniors up front one at a time. I hug them or shake hands, hand them a gift, and then they head back to their seat.
A Sample Agenda for Graduation Sunday
Here is a sample of our agenda, which changes from year to year. Feel free to adapt it to your situation.

• Welcome
• Message
• Call Up Graduates, Give Gifts
• Senior Slideshow Video
• Closing Prayer
None of these ideas is new. In fact, I believe I borrowed them from other youth workers. But I hope you can find one or two to use this year.
