Planning and Organizing Parent-Teacher Meeting Events at Church

6. Provide childcare for kids and an activity for teens.

I always do this. That way, parents have no excuse for not being there.

7. Ask youth leaders to attend.

We ask all youth leaders to attend these meetings. They sit with the parents of students in their small group. This provides interaction, and it connects the parents and youth leaders with one another so deeper ministry can occur.

8. Ask for feedback and have a Q&A.

Ask parents what they think of the student ministry and how it can improve. Also, have a Q&A after the meeting for practical parenting questions, or questions about the ministry and its events. Many times, other parents can answer some questions through personal experience. Then that becomes a great time of interaction.

These are just a few tips for planning and organizing parent-teacher meeting events. What tips would you add to the list?
