Are You Limiting Your Kids?

I am always amazed when people put age limits on what kids can do at church.

Churches may limit what kids do, but the Holy Spirit does not.

My question for you is this, are you limiting your kids?

I know that you love the kids you teach every Sunday and you enjoy teaching them, but are you willing to let your kids teach you?

You are the doorway for the Holy Spirit in your classroom.

As the leader you can open the door for the Holy Spirit in your class or you can keep it closed.

The Holy Spirit desires to minister through your kids, but it’s not going to happen if you don’t believe it.

And it’s not going to happen if you don’t teach on the Holy Spirit.

In First Samuel we find the story of Hannah, Samuel and Eli.

Hannah was barren. She had no children and she really wanted kids. Hannah prayed to the Lord.

If you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him to you. He will be yours for an entire lifetime.”

The Lord answered Hannah’s prayer and she gave birth to a son and she named him Samuel. When Samuel was still a young child she brought him to the temple and gave him to Eli, the High Priest, saying,

I am the woman who stood here several years ago praying. I asked the Lord to give me this boy and he granted my request. Now I am giving him to the Lord, and he will belong to the Lord his whole life”

Hannah understand that there was a call on Samuel’s life. There was an anointing from the Holy Spirit in Samuel and that his training should be different than the other kids in the neighborhood. Hannah saw Samuel’s future.

What about you? Can you see your child’s future? What about the kids that you teach? Can you see the plan the God has for them?

Only the Holy Spirit can help you see the future of your kids.

Hannah saw Samuel’s future, but Eli still didn’t get it.

How do I know Eli didn’t get it?

One night the Holy Spirit spoke to Samuel when he was still young, but Samuel thought Eli was talking to him.
