For Children 4 And Up (Or Youth Pastors of All Ages)

I’ve been sitting on a secret for about six months now. It’s big so you may have to sit down. I’ve been preaching out of a kids Bible–and it’s changing my life.

In my opinion, it’s one of the best ministry resources on my shelf. It’s called The Jesus Storybook Bible. I came across a blog on MoreThanDodgeball.com that prompted me to buy it for my daughter. I read three pages to her then stole it away to my office. I know, that’s mean, but I promise I’ll share with her.

It’s a Bible written for children four and up but I have LOVED using it to illustrate the stories that I’m communicating to teenagers. Even some of our adult leaders have bought this Bible for their own personal Bible study after I’ve shared the stories from it.

Sally Lloyd-Jones does a beautiful job connecting the threads of the Kingdom. Thank you Sally, I don’t know you, but thank you.
