The Winning Hand

The winning hand in every situation to hold is that of problem solver. Not everyone in the room can solve problems quickly, intrinsically, and authentically. Most people see a problem they see the limitations, ceilings, and roadblocks. The situation may have it’s challenges because of lack of funding, personnel, time, or understanding and for some that is all the deterrent they need to let go.

A problem solver has nothing within him or her that has ever been received as impossible. They are generally people who had adverse circumstances in their life as children or who were in situations where they developed a high degree of self-reliance.

Their mentality toward a problem does not allow them to quit. They re-work them, evaluate, and re-evaluate every detail looking for any crack or crevice where a wedge can be driven in to turn the circumstance around.

Work on your attitude towards difficulty and problems because it is in our nature to be comfortable and happy even at the expense of overcoming things that can rob us of opportunity. Do not quit.

“Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.” Proverbs 22:29

“Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:4
