How long is too long to be on your own? Jesus retreated often to places inaccessible to be alone but in his solitude He was with the Father. When He was with people He was completely “with” them on mission in their soul and on path with their weakness. Why do we crave to be away and by ourselves when in ruin and hopelessness when instead we should be seeking others, God at work in others, and God at work in ourselves?
