“Here we have an innocent woman sitting in church, praying on the church pew. She deserved better. She deserved better, and we can do better in this community, and we have got to stop this,” said Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich. “The issue in that case, that case sends the message we’ve been talking about so long: you don’t solve your problems with a gun.”
