Kingdom City Church in Charlotte, N.C., gave away free gas to 300 people at its “Gas on God” event on March 12. Volunteers also gave away groceries and gift cards and offered to pray for people. “I just want to thank Kingdom City Church for this experience,” said one woman who attended, calling the opportunity a “blessing.” The church’s senior pastor, Prophet Brian Carn said that one lady who came for the event said, “I don’t need gas, I just need prayer.”
Another woman said she could clearly feel people’s kindness and the presence of the Holy Spirit. “Speaking with people prior to even getting up this far [in line], getting your gas, praying with the people. It’s earth-shaking,” she said.
“I thank God for this,” said one man who waited in line, “because it really came in handy at the time.”
