After she finished her message, Bobbie praised her husband for bearing up under his burdens, saying that she agreed with a church leader who had recently told her, “A lesser man would have succumbed a long time ago.”
Brian then took the stage again to deliver a message of his own, also praising his wife, who he said has “had her heart broken” this year. He preached a sermon on living with purpose, giving examples from Scripture to show what a life of purpose looks like. The pastor closed the evening by praying for people who are in business and who have been experiencing spiritual attack. He thanked people for their prayers, saying that he and Bobbie would be following God’s lead for their future plans.
