Part of what makes the uproar so odd is that Jenkins said the scene where Jesus says the disputed line is “by far the most explicit portrayal of Jesus asserting his lordship, asserting his sole role as Savior, as responsible for your salvation, that the show has ever had.” He thinks that the majority of people who watch the episode will be “extremely excited about this because ‘The Chosen’ is making such a bold assertion.”
Season 3 of “The Chosen” will premiere in theaters Nov. 18.
