Charles Stanley’s Pocket Watch Sells on eBay for $2,375, Grandson Relists Framed Picture

“I just got monetized by YouTube and I’ve already made some decent money from it, but I don’t have access to that cash yet. So I’m trying to do that as a career and waiting on that money to come in,” Brodersen said. “But in the meantime I’m busting my b*lls and doing whatever it takes to stay afloat.”

In the eBay item description from the seller, Brodersen wrote:

“I am the grandson of Dr. Charles Stanley. After he passed away, we got to go through his things and everybody got a bunch of his stuff. I know that sounds awkward, but it’s just what happens when people die. This is a framed photo of my grandpa, Dr. Charles Stanley 13″X13″ square picture Signed by Dr. Stanley himself on 8/30/1996. It was hanging in the office of his home before he passed away, the office where he wrote all of his sermons and studied the Scripture. How long was it on that wall? I don’t know. A treasure for a true fan out there that wants to celebrate his passing and have a signed picture of the holy pastor on their wall at home.”

Brodersen later clarified that the picture was not signed by his grandfather, but assured the buyer it was taken from his office.
