In our story, Jesus put God first. He chose to submit to God’s plan even though it was difficult because Jesus knew it needed to be done to rescue the whole world. This was the plan Jesus needed to accomplish.
Our bottom line for this week is “God’s plan is for us to put him first.”
This wasn’t just for Jesus. God makes his rescue plan clear to us too. He gives us the Bible which has the complete message of his plan. He also sends people into our lives who help us understand that plan and what it means for the choices we need to make.
God has a plan for our lives. He wants us to put him first. He wants us to choose to trust in him and believe that what Jesus did on the cross for us is the ONLY way we can be with him now and forever. When we accept that gift of salvation, of new life, life won’t always be easy. But like Jesus, we can trust God no matter what that His plan for us is best. He’ll care for us each step of the way and make something awesome with our lives!
