Her tweet got the attention of GMA voting member Tim Dillinger who replied to Semler, asking her to follow him so he could direct message her.
A couple hours later, Semler posted an image listing eligible artists for the “New Artist of the Year” category. She wasn’t on the list.
“Well this is disappointing,” Baldridge said. “I didn’t even make it to the first round of voting for The Doves. I did what I could on my end to be eligible, but I guess this wasn’t my year. Would’ve loved to be considered. Thanks for the support all the same.”
One of her avid supporters, former DC Talk member and exvangelical Kevin Max, replied to Baldridge, saying, “I’ll be transparent and say my doves are now library bookend supporters, whilst the Grammy’s are showcased properly.”

“If you are attending the doves this year and want to have some fun plus let me be your plus one,” Semler posted in what appears to be her last plea for now.
