I am a pastor (senior pastor of First Baptist Church, O’Fallon, IL since 1995), author (Immersed: 40 Days to Deeper Faith is my third book) and adjunct seminary professor (teaching preaching and evangelism with Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary Online). My wife, Vickie, is the author of wateringcanblog.com. We have four children and three grandchildren. I graduated from Wheaton College and earned my M.Div. and Ph.D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
