Each Lausanne Congress provides the global church with the opportunity to put down markers—foundational statements of faith that shape the movement’s future direction.

As we prepare for the Lausanne gathering in September, we should remember the foundational principles that have shaped the movement along with how these principles can guide the future of evangelism.

While by no means exhaustive, I want to offer several principles to consider for local churches, and their leaders, not only to survive but thrive in this highly contentious election season.
