"No Limits!"

The longer I live, the more I realize that the only limits we have in life are the ones that we place on ourselves. I’m saying this from the perspective of being a realist.  I don’t believe that everyone can do everything; however I do believe that everyone can be great at many things.

As I was watching the Oklahoma City Thunder, play the Miami Heat yesterday, they played a brief interview with Thunder All-Star Kevin Durant.  KD talked about how his mom used to make him do push-ups, and more push-ups and more push-ups.  She even made him run hills at midnight in the middle of the hot summer.  She always encouraged him with the fact that, “Yo have to work, if you want to achieve your dreams.”

Kevin could have decided to give up and not work hard because he was probably going to be too skinny and lanky to ever play in the NBA.  Nope, he kept working with a “No Limits” type of attitude and has led the NBA in scoring the last 2 years and he’s barely over 20 years old.

“No Limits” is not about basketball, it’s about life.  If you want it, work hard and go get it.  There is a blessing around the corner with your name on it…  Go Get It!

When we honestly survey the limits of life, 9 times out of 10 we will come to the conclusion that most limitations were self-imposed.
