Pastor James Morris and his wife Bridgette received a standing ovation during Gateway Church’s worship service over the weekend after North Fort Worth and Online Campus Pastor Ben Pirtle voiced his appreciation for them during his sermon.

A leaked email from 2005 confirms that Cindy Clemishire made at least one elder of Gateway Church aware that Pastor Robert Morris had allegedly sexually abused her. 

As a small group of protestors gathered outside of Gateway Church this past weekend, church elder Tra Willbanks addressed the congregation regarding the allegations that Robert Morris sexually abused a 12-year-old girl in the 1980s.

Robert Morris, founder and senior pastor of Gateway Church in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, has been accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old in the 1980s. Morris was 20 at the time of the alleged abuse.
