In our hustle-driven, performance-based world, we tend to think God is pleased with our effort, our discipline, or our public success. We unconsciously believe that spiritual maturity is measured by how much we do for God.

But here’s the hidden truth that turns that thinking upside-down: God is most glorified not in our strength, but in our surrender.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

God doesn’t need your perfection—He desires your availability. He’s not waiting for you to become the best version of yourself before He can use you. He’s waiting for you to lay down what you think qualifies you, and simply say, “Here I am, Lord.”
