Grant went on to quote 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, which says, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned: struck down, but not destroyed.”

“We will rebuild, not just the building, but the community and faith that make us who we are. Already I’ve heard from so many of you offering prayers, help, and encouragement,” said Grant. “That’s the church in action, and it’s beautiful. We’ll share more soon about next steps, but for now, hold on to this: we have each other, and we have Jesus, our constant in every storm.”

Speaking about the crimes of which Jordan has been accused, Grant told WSBTV, “You have to be possessed by a demon to do something like that.”

“You cannot be a logical, rational human being to do that,” he added.

This Sunday, Prayer City Eagles Chapel International Ministries plans to hold service in the parking lot.
