“Upon his confession, he was accompanied to the police station, where he turned himself in, and his employment was terminated the same day,” the statement continued. “We are deeply grieved by these events and remain committed to the care and well-being of everyone in our church.”
Although McGinley has not worked at Resurrection Christian School for five years, upon learning of the allegations against him, the school banned McGinley from having any further involvement in any of its programs.
Authorities do not believe there are any other victims.
McGinley is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 24.
