Earlier this week, President Donald Trump signed into law the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which requires the Department of Justice (DOJ) to publicly release the so-called Epstein Files, a cache of documents related to late financier Jeffrey Epstein, who is believed to have run a child sex trafficking ring.

While Trump, who is named in some of the files, has referred to the scandal surrounding the documents as a “Democrat hoax” and previously rejected the idea of releasing them, he has relented to political pressure, including some from members of his own political party.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, a devout Southern Baptist, has expressed disappointment that the Senate did not amend the bill to include greater restrictions on what would be released to the public.

In the documents release, the names of victims will be redacted, and the DOJ will not be required to release any documents that are part of an active federal investigation.

The DOJ has 30 days to release the documents.

In the meantime, evangelist Franklin Graham has weighed in with his thoughts on the issue with a social media post. In the post, Graham pointed out that “God has a ‘file’” on everyone.

“In American politics right now, the ‘Epstein files’ are a major focus,” wrote Graham. “What many are wanting is to see whether they can find any damaging information about President Donald J. Trump’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein, who pleaded guilty to sex crimes and then later died in prison.”

“They may find this inquiry to be a double-edged sword because there are likely many people not currently on the radar whose sins may come to light,” Graham added.

Graham went on to write, “Did you know that God has a ‘file’ on each one of us? The Epstein files are nothing compared to God’s files.”

“His file on us goes much deeper than just what we’ve said or done. He knows our thoughts, desires, and motives. Jesus applied the Ten Commandments to the sins of the heart. By His standard, not one of us is without sin,” Graham continued.
