Donald Trump: ‘Nobody Has Done More’ For Christianity, Evangelicals, or Religion Itself

Trump then recalled his administration’s foreign policies with regard to Israel. “Also, nobody’s done so much for Israel as I have, as you know—with Jerusalem, and frankly ending the Iran Nuclear Deal, which is a disaster. And all of the other things I’ve done for Israel,” Trump said, referring to his moving the American Embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and the U.S. withdrawal from the Iran Nuclear Deal

Trump added, “And, by the way, in the evangelical community, I mean, I actually get probably more credit for that than I do with Jewish people. But Israel’s a very important element. So nobody’s done what I’ve done, and I’m very happy to do it.” American Jewish people have been far more divided on Trump’s Israel policies than evangelicals.

Trump concluded his remarks with another criticism of the Biden administration, saying, “And they’ve turned out to be much worse than anybody ever thought.”
