Black Woman Turned Away From Arkansas Church, Referred to as ‘Colored’

“I’m not saying the church as a whole exemplified racism. I’m speaking [about] the individuals we encountered,” Mac said. Going on to explain that she will always be willing to speak out against racism, Mac expressed that the existence of racism within the church won’t make her lose her faith, saying, “Lastly and certainly not least I believe in CHRISTIANITY and I will never give up on the power of God and His unchanging hand.”

The St. Francis County NAACP in Arkansas is aware of the incident and plans to meet with church officials soon.
