Despite the accusations against Prenell, he served as a deputy with the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office from June to December 2022. He has served as senior pastor of Bright Morning Star Baptist Church since November 2021, according to his Facebook profile.
Prenell has often been publicly effusive toward his wife via the couple’s shared Facebook profile.

In April, Prenell posted in celebration of Gabrielle’s birthday, writing, “I love you so much and I’m grateful God has allowed you another year. I’ve watched your growth on all levels and you’re a great mother, wife, and my best friend.”
“I’m proud to be your husband because you are a woman of class, discretion, integrity, and most importantly…you’re a woman of God,” Prenell’s post continued. “I pray God continues to allow you many more birthdays because I honestly do not know what I’d do without you.”
