Battocletti was fired from the church following the interview.
According to a statement released by the United States Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Alabama, the maximum penalty for the charge against Battocletti is 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000.Â
In accordance with her plea agreement, Battocletti will also be required to pay restitution of at least $299,000 to St. Francis of Assisi University Parish.
