On Sunday (Feb. 18), Patrick addressed “the devastating circumstances that our church and school families have been through.”
While Patrick said that he is “not able to comment concerning any specifics about the case,” he said he believes that “in time, if the Lord would allow it, we’ll be able to share more details to help you better understand what all’s taken place.”
After thanking the church for an outpouring of support, Patrick said, “In everything that we do, we want the Lord to be honored.”
“I want you to know this: We will always be truthful and honest. And know this: We want the name of Jesus Christ to be uplifted today in this church service,” Patrick continued.
He went on to express that when he discovered that he would not be allowed on the campus of the school or church in light of the charge against him, it was a “devastating moment.”
“I’ve never wanted to preach so much in my life,” Patrick said, expressing gratitude that the court order was amended.
Patrick went on to preach about God being near to the brokenhearted.
