“Will ‘The King of Kings’ ignite that same level of cultural intensity? Few films ever do,” Purdie added. “But this film is charting its own course, leaving its mark on animated storytelling and capturing the hearts of audiences.”
In conjunction with the release of “The King of Kings,” Angel Studios has announced a “Kids Go Free” campaign, allowing moviegoers to receive up to one free children’s ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket.
These tickets are funded by the Angel Studios’ pay-it-forward program in which supporters of the studio purchase tickets on behalf of others.
