“Just like ‘The Prince of Egypt’ drew families to theaters, our Angel Guild has supported this film through presales and strong word-of-mouth since it entered the Angel ecosystem,” said Brandon Purdie, Angel Studios’ global head of theatrical distribution and brand development. “Charles Dickens had a tradition of sharing this story with his family and we hope that ‘The King of Kings’ will become a part of the Easter tradition for families around the globe.”
In conjunction with the release of “The King of Kings,” Angel Studios has announced a “Kids Go Free” campaign, allowing moviegoers to receive up to one free children’s ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket.
These tickets are funded by the Angel Studios’ pay-it-forward program in which supporters of the studio purchase tickets on behalf of others.
